Beginners French Course

Learn French with the Latin Rhythm Dance School's 8 week French course. This course is intended for students with no prior knowledge of French. You will learn how to communicate in French in everyday situations, through written and oral exercises, role-playing and multimedia.

Course Outline: This course will include greetings and farewells, asking and providing personal information, ordering food and drinks, asking for information, requesting and giving directions, conjugation of most common regular and irregular verbs and important aspects of French Culture.

Learning Goals: On completion of the course learners will be able to introduce him/herself to a French speaker and exchange greetings; pronounce French accurately; construct sentences using the present, past and future tenses; be able to ask questions about travel routes and timetables; ask directions and understand the response; conjugate a range of regular and irregular verbs in the present, past and future tenses.

Duration: Each evening course is made of 8 x 1 hour classes.

Streams: Classes are limited to 10 students.

8 Week Courses - Our popular courses run for 8 weekly classes and are designed for stuctured learning of French. Certificates - Gain a certificate upon successful completion of each course.
 
TextBook - A 150 page textbook is provided for free for use in classes. French TV - All our students have free access to our library of 50 French language movies & docos.
   
Library - All our students have free access to our library of 500 books and travel guides. Computer Lab - Students have free access to our vast collection of France software & cds.

Spanish Cultural Events

Movie Nights - Every fortnight we show a famous film from France with english subtitles. Parties - Every course has an end of class dinner for practising & enjoying French cuisine.

Price & Booking

Timetable - Learn to speak French in Auckland. Prices - $150 or $140 (students). Includes course book, movies and Practice nights.
   
Private Classes - Learn French one on one with our professional teachers from $30 hour, includes materials and Practice nights. Booking - Book and pay securely online with Visa or Mastercard or reserve your place by email.
